The group will not only have posts from the Association but it is a place for you to share information about your ancestors. To join, you will be asked a question. Once answered the administrator of the group will review your request. Please do not add someone to the group, but please tell your family about the group so that they can join if they wish. Mayor Frank Scarpitti is planning to combine the 220th Anniversary of the founding of Markham with the inaugural meeting of the new council on Monday, December 1, 7 – 9 p.m. at the Flato Markham Theatre. If you live near Markham and can attend, please let Lorne Smith know in the next couple of days as the mayor wishes to send out invitations.
